10 Best Credit Cards for People with Credit Problems
Today, there are many alternative options for those with a bad name: cards that don’t check your CPF with the SPC or Serasa, consigned cards and even prepaid cards. In this post, we’ve selected the best credit cards for people with bad credit to help you choose. Check them out!
Card options for people with credit cards
Before we present the list, here’s a brief explanation of prepaid and payroll cards.
Prepaid cards are similar to debit cards, but you don’t need to prove your income. To use them, simply pre-load the amount you want to spend and you won’t have to worry about the monthly bill or interest. In this modality, the purchase is only made if you have a sufficient balance on the card. No mistake.
But one more thing. Always check whether the card has any operational charges, such as membership fees, top-ups, maintenance, annual fees, etc.
Consigned credit cards are more restricted. They are offered to salaried workers, military personnel, retirees, INSS pensioners and civil servants. There is no analysis by Serasa, SPC or other credit protection agencies.
With payroll cards, you receive a monthly bill and a minimum amount is deducted from your net salary or INSS benefit. They generally have zero annual fees and lower rates than conventional credit cards.
